Applications are now open for the Amnesty International Youth Task Force 2019 in the UK! Amnesty is in the process of designing a new global strategy to become a bigger movement.

The procedure will be taken by Amnesty’s Global Assembly in July 2020 and sponsored by the Global Strategy and Impact Program (GSIP) at the International Secretariat.

The procedure will get notification from a wide scope of partners to help Amnesty International’s future leaders. The Youth Task Force will be one of the key gatherings to interpret the effect of the worldwide leaders into Amnesty’s workshop.

Purpose:

The motivation behind the Youth Task Force is to work through the methodologies and the strategies and must install to accomplish change. The Task Force will work cooperatively with another grouping to help and sort out the drafting of Amnesty’s new global system.

Duration of Amnesty International Youth Task Force:

selected leaders will engage in a 3-day workshop in London, in the United Kingdom from October 28-30, 2019. A live session will be given during the workshop to up to 3 languages based on the gathering to guarantee full involvement and inclusivity.

Procedure for applying:

Selection Criteria:

• The applicant must be between 18-24.
• 50 percent will be chosen from inside the Amnesty International development (existing volunteers) and rest 50 percent of members from different associations or social developments. The gathering will be different and be chosen from over different regions, and backgrounds
• Practical experience (in any shape and structure) of campaigning for human rights or social change – including around development arranging and assembly, advocacy, partnership building, communications or research.
• Skills: innovative capacity to think globally (connecting nearby and worldwide components of development arranging), enthusiastic about social change, initiative abilities.
